The Block of Time is a cost effective plan with which you can take care of your entire Municipality computing and networking needs. The Block of Time that can be used for any of the services provided by Tech Resources. It covers everything from planning and installation, to on-going support and off-site work. It is a simple and flexible approach to obtaining professional computer services, no matter what you might need, without a long term contract.

How might you use your Block of Time Contract, just a few examples?

• Get your computers fixed on site
• Installation and configuration of software
• Training in a specific application
• Telephone Support
• Off site repair of your equipment
• Software or hardware upgrades

Advantages

Unlike typical support contracts, the Block of Time can be applied toward a wide variety of services over an unspecified period of time. There is no "use it or lose it" deadline, nor are they any terms that limit its use to certain types of services or products. All of the services provided by Tech Resources can be billed against the Block of Time. If more time is needed than was initially contracted for, an additional Block of Time can be purchased at the same discounted rate.

Time is accurately tracked for each use of the Block of Time, and you receive a statement for each support activity utilizing Tech Resources, Inc. signed Service Report Form

Cost

We have a single standard rate for computer work of $95 per hour. A Block of Time is sold in 10-hour increments. You get a 5% discount off of the hourly rate if you buy one or more blocks. This lowers the hourly rate to $90 per hour or a savings of $5 per hour. One Block Of Time Costs $900.

Hourly rate pricing applies to normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM. Activities before 8:30 AM and after 5:00 PM, weekdays, as well as work performed on Weekends & Holidays, will be billed at $125 per hour. Each on-site service call will be assessed a $25 flat fee for a trip charge.
